AS7326-56X / AS7726-32X - PSU Failure Follow
Model :
AS7326-56X / AS7726-32X
Procedure :
Step-1 Please power cycle to the ACCTON-DIAG for troubleshooting
Step-2 Check the front panel system LED of the PSU
The following figure is the system led location for the AS7326-56X.
The following figure is the system led location for the AS7726-32X.
The following table is the LED definition of the system PSU for the AS7326-56X / AS7726-32X.
Color |
PSU status |
Green | PSU1/PSU2 operates normally |
Red | PWR is present but not power on or this power is the fault |
Off | PSU does not plug into the slot |
If PSU led shows red, please check both PSU modules whether powered on or not.
If yes, please refer to steps 3~5 for debugging.
Step-3 Identify the PSU number
The following figure is a schematic diagram of PSU1 and PSU2 on AS7326-56X.
The following figure is a schematic diagram of PSU1 and PSU2 on AS7726-32X.
Step-4 Check the LED on the PSU module.
The following table is the LED definition of the PSU module.
Color | PSU status |
Green | PSU1/PSU2 operates normally |
Red | PSU is failure |
Off | PSU plugged into the switch but not power on |
We can check whether it is the PSU slot failure or PSU module failure via the led of PSU module.
Please take the current failure PSU and insert it into the adjacent PSU slot.
- If the LED of the PSU module is green, then it is the PSU slot failure.
- If the LED of the PSU module is red, then it is the PSU module failure.
Both of the above situations are considered hardware failures, please refer to the RMA repair
service for the next process.
Step-5 Enter the command to detect PSU status on ACCTON-DIAG.
Please make sure both PSU modules are connected to the power source.
Then, you can run the following test after PSUs are powered ON. Otherwise, the test will fail.
Please execute the "pwrmod" to check the current PSU status.
- If all the PSU modules are working properly, then the result will show "PASS".

AC_ALERT: PASS
12V_PG: PASS
PSU-R
