Dynamic port breakout

Hello there, my name is João from Brasil. Im a member of Flex,  working in a project of open-ran with the AS7316-26XB. We have a problem with the 100 Gb port of this equipemente, that doenst do the dynamic port breakout.Is there a way of doing this procedure?

  Hi João,

  Dynamic Port Breakout feature is SONiC feature.  However, SONiC does not support AS7316-26XB.

  Thank you for the aswer, i have only one more question.This feature is possible by breakout cable? We bought a breakout cable from Amphenol, but we think that the switch is not reconizing the cable. Thank you a lot for your help.

  NOS has to implement this feature to read breakout cable information and set the config

  Hi João,

  We don't have this kind of document.  It depends on NOS' design.   The basic concept it NOS to read transceiver/cable's information and set the config accordingly.
