What separation distance I have to give to my MetroLinq radios installed on the same pole? Follow
In General, there is no hard requirement for co-location of MetroLinq radios on the same pole, but care should be taken to allow the mount position to be moved up to one meter in any direction (up or down is typically the easiest) in case multipath or other undesired effects are present. MetroLinq radios deployed within close-proximity such that the antenna beams for different links overlap (e.g. on the same mounting pole) should use separate 60 GHz channels where possible. It is recommended for the MetroLinq 10 G Tri-Band Omni, which has three 60 GHz radios, to use separate channels on each radio.
