AS4630 series - Error "ixgbe 0000:06:00.0: The EEPROM Checksum Is Not Valid" Follow

Purpose : 

This article shows how to fix the "ixgbe 0000:06:00.0: The EEPROM Checksum Is Not Valid" error.

Model : 

AS4630-54PE / AS4630-54TE / AS4630-54NPE

Symptom: 

Upgraded the BIOS firmware from v37 to v47, then it will print out the following error message in the

ONIE booting process.

ixgbe 0000:06:00.0: The EEPROM Checksum Is Not Valid *
ixgbe 0000:06:00.1: The EEPROM Checksum Is Not Valid *
ixgbe 0000:08:00.0: The EEPROM Checksum Is Not Valid *
ata1.00: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x40) *

Solution: 

• Please check the "Network Stack" setting in the BIOS menu.
  [Advanced] > [Network Stack Configuration] 
  If the "Network Stack" setting is [Disabled].

Then please configured it to [Enabled].

After that, please "Save Changes and Reset". Then, this problem will be fixed.
